A new paper from Minda lab member Dr. Priya Kalra looks at the experimental logic for exploring the dissociation between explicit and implicit processes (or procedural and declarative processes). Building off of Jacoby’s “process dissociation procedure”, Priya explores how this can be used in categorization, memory, and other areas and how to look more closely at cases where two systems might both be contributing to an outcome.
